We are excited to announce that Yvette is rejoining ScanSource Communications as Vice President of Merchandising. This sixteen-year ScanSource veteran started her journey in our POS/Barcode business unit in 2000 and has since then held a variety of executive positions and brought tremendous value to the ScanSource team along her professional journey.

Most recently, Yvette was responsible for the overall vendor strategy and direction of the Latin America POS and Barcode business unit where she implemented enhanced processes to improve organizational structure and motivate employees. Over the years, she’s successfully launched new products, grown existing lines, acted as a mentor and developed and launched a merchandising training program for Product Management focused on business, marketing and finance.

In her new role, Yvette plans to work on the implementation of new support programs for our partner community, navigate ongoing growth of our vendor partners and help to successfully launch complementary lines to our existing portfolio.

“What do I love about my job? It’s an exciting industry. Not only working in channels, particularly for a company like ScanSource, but being involved in the ever-changing world of communications. It’s the best of both worlds to me!”

Yvette enjoys working with individuals who have a passion for our business. In fact, she has a few tidbits for the younger folks coming into our industry:

  • Be true to yourself and love the work you do.
  • Never compromise your values.
  • Be a good listener, but know when it’s time to speak up.
  • Know your limits. Make time for yourself… emotionally, physically, spiritually.
  • Don’t be afraid of change… embrace it!
  • Learn from your mistakes.

In her spare time, family is a first priority. Yvette enjoys spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren and her four legged fur baby. You’ll often find her in the kitchen baking or cooking for her family and enjoying gorgeous lake-side views.

Welcome back, Yvette!
