So I have been trying for the past few days to set up a QL420 plus. I use the Zebra Vista program to configure the device, but when the printer reboots it does not save the changes. Any ideah?

It could be several things. The first, and I am throwing it out there because we have all done it, does the QL+ have the wireless radio. Double check the P/N to make sure it is not the Serial or Bluetooth version. It is possible that you have a miss-ship. Label Vista will go through the motions of entering the network settings but they will not be saved if the correct radio is not installed.
There was also an issue with firmware in the new QLn printers that caused a problem just like you described. We have not heard of it in the QL+ but I would still get with your reseller or distributor to get the newest firmware for your QL plus. It might fix the problem.
Outside of that it could just be a defective printer.
