What’s new in RealPresence Debut 1.1.0?

The RealPresence Debut was announced during Polycom’s 25th Anniversary celebration in the fall of 2015.

Here on the ScanSource Communications Tech Team, we were able to get our hands on these devices in March of 2016. These video codecs are extremely easy to setup. The Debut includes the traditional H.323 and SIP protocols as well as a newly added “cloud functionality” and registration. The RP Debut has the option of registering directly to our Total Coverage Video-as-a-Service (VaaS) network. Provisioning and setup literally takes less than five minutes.

In May of 2016 Polycom released the first update – version 1.1.0. Here’s a list of the new features included in the update. Check out the Release Notes link listed at the bottom of the page for in-depth detail.
