ShoreTel Spotlight: Frank Blackwell, Vice President of Sales for ScanSource Communications

Say “Hello” to Frank Blackwell, Vice President of Sales for ScanSource Communications. Frank is a new face to the Communications Business Unit, but not to the ScanSource team or to the distribution channel. A seasoned vet with almost 13 years working on the ScanSource team, he got his start working for a local business selling furniture then moved into technology distribution sales where he hasn’t looked back.

This business-minded executive is a big “classic rock” fan and has attended hundreds of concerts over the years!  During the summer, he enjoys spending time at the lake with family and friends and really enjoys travelling. He recently attended the ScanSource and ShoreTel Beyond Expectations Trip, an incentive trip for ShoreTel partners where winners enjoy networking and business-building opportunities with ScanSource and ShoreTel.  Says Frank, “We worked hard and played hard for three days. What a trip!”

As far as his sales team, Frank is excited to work with a geographically diverse team that “prides themselves on becoming an extension of their business partners” and “is extremely knowledgeable about our businesses and products we provide our ShoreTel partners.”  This year, he will be focusing on helping his team become a more important part of our partners’ businesses, as well as a continued valued resource to ScanSource vendor partners, like ShoreTel.
