At Catalyst Conference 2011, VP of Marketing for ScanSource, Inc., Bobby McLain, took an innovative approach to his presentation.  Instead of a typical PowerPoint presentation, Bobby used a tool called Poll Everywhere to survey the audience in real-time and create a uniquely engaging session experience.

I captured a quick video on my iPhone from the front row and thought I would share it with you.  If you were there, let me know what you thought.

Some other cool polling and presentation tools are:

polleverywhere.com - The fastest way to create stylish real-time experiences for events using mobile devices

twtpoll.com – Engage Your Customers. Ask Questions. Get Feedback. From Simple Twitter Polls to Powerful Surveys!

prezi.com – Allows you to create astonishing presentations live and on the web.

twitterfountain.com – Mashing up tweets by Twitter keyword or hashtag into a spectacular visual.

visibletweets.com – A visualization of Twitter messages designed for display in public spaces.

visualtweets.com – Allows you to filter out tweets using a specific keyword and display them in full-screen on a TV, computer, or projector.

What other cool presentation tools have you found to keep an audience engaged?
