Many have had challenges with the resource-hogging recording server in camera solutions. But now, thanks to Axis and Exacq, we’ll have to find something else to worry about. Both companies have recently released an edge version of their software that works with the camera’s SD card and allows users to manage multiple cameras.
The Axis Camera Companion can handle up to 16 cameras, while the Exacq Vision Edge – although designed for a small camera count – can integrate into their existing software solution.
