Intermec CV30: Connecting an SR61T Scanner

You will need:

  • SR61T Scanner (instructions assume it is a default configuration)
  • RS232 Cable INT-236184001
  • CV30 with available COM1 or COM3 port

Setup Instructions:

  1. Turn off the CV30 and attach the RS232 cable to COM1 or COM3

  1. Attach the other end of the cable to the SR61T
  2. Power on the CV30
    • On the CV30 with WM tap: Start/Settings/System tab/Intermec Settings
    • On the CV30 with CE tap: Start/Settings/Control Panel/Intermec Settings
  1. Expand Data Collection and then either Tethered Scanner (COM1) or (COM3) depending on which port you used to connect the scanner
  2. Make sure Enable Scanner Port is checked

  1. Expand Scanner Settings/Scanner model. Select SR60 from the list

  1. Expand Scanner Port Settings and make sure they match the defaults of the SR61T listed below:
    • Baud =57600
    • Data Bits =8
    • Parity = None
    • Stop Bits = 1
  1. Tap File/Save Settings


Configuration is complete. You should now be able to scan into your application with the SR61
