Did you know that featuring a video on your homepage increases your chances of showing up in a Google search by more than 50%? Video is one of the fastest-growing social trends, and it’s a valuable way to convey your message to your target audience. Finding content, equipment, on-screen talent and funds for the video can be challenging at times, but there are ways to make video a little more palatable, such as splitting the cost with a vendor!

ScanSource Services Group has been working closely with many of our manufacturer partners, including Datamax-O’Neil, eTelemetry, Honeywell and Motorola, to create videos that are compelling and solution-focused that can be customized with your brand and call-to-action. This provides you with a professional, affordable and ready-to-deploy video option. All you have to provide is a high-resolution logo and contact information, and within a couple of days you’ll have a video that is yours to use on your website, landing page, YouTube channel, SUMOpartner and more!

Here are some examples of how resellers and vendors are taking advantage of this new trend:

Example 1:

American Barcode & RFID, a ScanSource POS/Barcoding reseller partner, was looking for a cost-effective video featuring a multi-vendor solution. Datamax-O’Neil and Honeywell worked with the ScanSource Services Group to develop a script focusing on the Honeywell 99ex and Datamax-O’Neil printpad solution. The video was recorded at a ScanSource location using internal talent to help keep costs down. Not only was American Barcode & RFID able to launch this campaign with a unique matching landing page, but this video will also be available for other ScanSource resellers to co-brand and advertise with their own logo and contact information.

Example 2:

eTelemetry, one of Catalyst Telecom’s newest Vendor Partners, wanted to create a co-brandable video that features their Locate e911 solution. ScanSource Services Group helped put together a script and image-based video with professional voiceover to convey the messaging. Not only is eTelemetry using the video on their website to educate resellers, but they also offer the same video, along with a co-brandable email template and case studies, to Catalyst resellers for future campaigns.

Example 3:

Motorola Solutions was looking for a video that represented all the various ways the new ET1 Enterprise Tablet can be used in different verticals with complementary products, like Zebra Technologies’ mobile printers. ScanSource Services Group worked with Motorola to develop a script and filmed it in a variety of settings to convey the various atmospheres it fits into. The ScanSource Motorola team created this video specifically for ScanSource resellers to co-brand and use in their own marketing, and plans to launch this at the September ScanSource Partner Conference.
